Single Housing
There are three buildings currently available to house single students-Whittier Hall, 517 West 121st, and Grant Hall. Residents in each of these buildings are provided with telephone with voice mail, cable TV service, unlimited local calls, caller identification, and computer data service are also included in each room.

Whittier Hall

Whittier Hall is located at 1230 Amsterdam Avenue (at the corner of 120th Street). There are several different types of housing accommodations offered in the building. All assignments offer a private bedroom. Room sizes vary in all accommodation types. In the single rooms, approximately 20 students of the same gender share kitchen and bathroom facilities. Suite rooms have kitchen and bath facilities shared by three to six individuals of the same gender. All student housing is furnished with a bed, desk, desk chair, overhead light, mirror, chest of drawers and/or wardrobe. The efficiency, one and two bedroom, and studio units have a private kitchen, with a kitchen table and chairs provided. Microwaves are provided for students in suites, efficiencies, studios and one-bedroom apartments. Combination microwave and refrigerator units are provided in the single rooms.

517 West 121st is our newest residence hall, which was completed in September 2004 and contains252 studio apartments with shared common kitchens distributed throughout the building. The studios are approximately 225 square feet in size, and each one has a private bathroom. Units are furnished with a twin bed (double in the large efficiencies), desk, desk chair, table, refrigerator, microwave, floor lamp, chest of drawers and/or wardrobe. The larger efficiencies include a stove and easy chair.
Grant Hall

Two-bedroom (per person): $4,600-$5,000
Summer Rate
Two-bedroom (per person): $3,900-$4,200
Grant Hall is located at 514 West 122nd Street, is a six-story building with four apartments on each floor. The courtyard side, shared two bedroom apartments contain two bedrooms, eat-in kitchen, and bathroom.
